SAFARI & STORIES
A true nature and culture trip.
This safari tour departs from Coral Divers. It is a relaxed tour with small groups of up to 10 people.
You’ll hop into our safari vehicle, and we’ll take you on a unique journey to the south and north sides of the island. Our specially designed safari vehicle makes this easy, allowing us to navigate rugged backroads that are inaccessible to standard rental cars.
Along the way, we’ll take the time to share interesting and amusing stories about the traditional *kunuku* house, the "Fist with the Chain" monument, and - of course - Curaçao’s iconic symbol: the Flamingo.
We make a few stops as well:
- Boka Patrick: the rough sea wasses up a lot of driftwood and (unfortunately) plastic here. Marvel at the natural divide.
- Natural Jacuzzi (Suplado): Here, the sea surges violently out of a blowhole. Wonderfully refreshing and a beautiful sight.
- Ascencion Country House: This beautiful country house has a spooky story.
Next, we continue our journey through the interior (known here as the *kunuku*) of Curaçao, where you get a good impression of rural life in Banda Bou. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of a beautiful hill.
The final stop is at a lovely private beach on the south coast. Here, you can sunbathe, swim, and/or snorkel.
After leaving the *mondi* (scrubland), we will enjoy a delicious lunch at 4th of July. At this authentic *snek* (snack bar), our Prime Minister is a regular customer, often coming for the *dushi* (delicious) *Pan Spek i Webu* (bacon and egg sandwich).
